I use webdeveloper a lot and for some reason I was trying to use firebug to inspect an information page (cookies | view cookie information).

I enable firebug, goto the html tab and mouse over the body tag. Then the cookie information page turns blue (selected element) and firebug deactivates.
This proces keeps repeating itself (enable, mouseover, disable). It appears that everytime there is a mouse event from firebug that change the selection on the information page, firebug is disabled.

The information page does not have an url, but firebug is able to display the information from it, so this is kind of unexpected behaviour or a bug.

Firefox 1.12.
Firebug 1.9.1
Webdeveloper 1.1.9.

Issue 5120 covers that. Firebug is currently not able to debug browser internal pages.
