everything looks fine in HTML-Tab. After switching to Console and back the right frame disappears.

How can I get it back without reloading the page?

I assume you're using 1.10, right? I assume it's a conflict with another extension. Therefore please follow the steps described in our wiki and let us know the results.

Have the same issue and the solution is that the panel is still there but it just activate, for a reason i dont know, the "extensions.firebug.viewPanelOrient" in about:config to "true" just set it to "false" and you are ok. Trying to reproduce the problem but failed.
