I'm not sure that "this" is. Firebug does not know anything about
Ubiquity.
Before you open the Ubiquity command line, do you have Firebug open?
Do you have Firebug active for the current Firefox tab? If yes, turn
Firebug off for that page with the control in the upper left.
If nothing else you can install the tracing version of firebug,
1.5Xb2, and set ACTIVATION to see why Firebug wants to open. See
