Firebug Not Downloading

I'm trying to download Firebug for creating and editing jQuery, but I go to the page with all the links for different versions of Firebug and none of the links result in a file getting downloaded. I wonder what could be the issue.

Did you try to download Firebug from getfirebug.com or addons.mozilla.org?
What exactly happened when you clicked the download link?
