Hi,

In rev 5266 (and before), often I don't have any scripts to select.
The script panel shows a 'x' in the upper left corner and there is no
script selection dropdown. Sometimes I'm lucky and I can select
scripts, but often I cannot.
e.q. I cannot see scripts at http://code.google.com/p/fbug/source/list?start=5266.

I have to revert to around 5240 (don't know exactly) to get scripts
back.

I am not able to reproduce this behavior using R5298.

I guess this maybe related to our work to turn off the javascript
debugger API when you are not debugging a web page. If so the reason
we have a hard time reproducing it would be things like the number of
tabs, windows, and which ones are using Firebug.

Be on the look out for the circumstances that cause it to happen/not
happen. For example, if you see it happen, did you just switch tabs or
open a tab or window? Does reloading the page fix it?

At rev 5430, I still see occasionally the 'x'. It seems to appears
after I go back one page in history during debugging.
But fortunately, now there's always a dropdown to select a script.
(That wasn't there before).

I'll update this thread when I have more information.

I have exactly this problem with a x and no dropdown to select a
script
I have 1.4.5 version of firebug and 3.5.6 of firefox

When i load the page with firebug off, and then i open firebug, i can
access to the script but all the breakpoint are in undefined status
then i reload the page but dropdown to select a script is unavailable
and i have only the x !!

I suggest you try Firebug 1.5b6 (not b7 or b8). If you still have a
problem, report a bug.
