preventing firebug opening every single time I open a page or refresh

Hi

Does anyone know how to do this? It's driving me batty. I'd like to be able to open it when I want it and not have to keep closing it every two seconds. It's set up on the right of my browser window.

Did you activate "On for All Web Pages" option?
The option is available in the menu associated with the Firebug Start button.

You might also want to pick "Clear Activation List"
