This isn't a bug report, just a curiosity about the expected behavior
of the net activity graph displayed in Firebug 1.0.

Does it start the timer when the first data is retrieved from the
server or when the page request is initiated?

I get very different results from a web site when comparing the similar
functionality represented in the "Tamper Data" Add-on -> Graph All
feature relative to the "Firebug" Add-on -> Net feature.

Tamper Data returns approximately 8-9 seconds and Firebug returns 2.61
seconds (on the same page running simultaneously.

Another problem with net activity is that, sometimes, firefox generate
an http request for files retrieved from the cache, without hitting the
server. However, firebug shows them with a dark gray bar and not with a
light gray one, as stated in the documentation.

Yes - this one threw me for a while. I'm pretty sure now that the Net
activity measures just that - "net" activity. Since I'm also developing
the server side code it would be great to have the server turnaround
time shown for each request as well.
