"event is not defined" error when clicked on ALL webpages

Hi,

I'm using firebug 1.7.3 on firefox 3.6.28 (I know it's an outdated
version, but I'm using it at work and I don't have a choice). I keep
getting an "event is not defined" error everytime I click anywhere. I
thought it was a just a bug with my code at first, but then I realized
that it happens for EVERY website. I tried reinstalling firebug, and
even reinstalled firefox, but firebug is still giving me that error
everytime I click.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

We don't work on 1.7.3 version, but if you tell us the file name and
line number
where the error occurs, we could help you to patch it.
