Console log messages not showing

My console log messages are not showing. I've just recently read about
console, and I'm making calls to console.log("Log something"), but
nothing appears in the console. I don't get any errors, and actually
I'm quite sure console is defined after having played around with it a
bunch.

Am I missing something? Do I need to enable something in order to see
the log messages?

What version of Firefox, Firebug do you use?
If you create a new Firefox profile, with only Firebug installed, does
it help?

I'm using Firefox 5.0, and Firebug 1.7.3

I created a new profile, installed Firebug, and I was able to see the
log messages. So it obviously works, but something is blocking it from
my regular profile - and ideas?

It could be a collision with another extension. Do you have any?
If yes, try to disable them step by step to see which one is it.

Thanks I got it first try! It's the noscript plugin. Any idea how I
can stop this from blocking my log messages?
