Hi there,

Somethings breaks the JS since Firefox 33 (33.0a2 (2014-08-17)) when opening Firebug for me; happened as well with Firebug 2.0.2(b1); everything works fine on Firefox 32 with the same profile.

example: http://www.heise.de/
- open http://www.heise.de/ with no Firebug instance open
- hover over the top logo "heise online" > the navigation should open
- activate Firebug
- hover over the top logo "heise online" > the navigation doesn't open anymore

Please let me know if you need more information or another test cases

As always, thanks for your hard work!

Cheers,
Albert

I can't reproduce this with Firefox 33.0a2 (2014-08-17) + Firebug 2.0.3 on Win7. See the screenshot:

So I assume it could be related to another extension or a preference. Does it work for you on a fresh Firefox profile with just Firebug installed?

Hi Sebastian,

Tested Firefox 33 with a clean profile and only Firebug installed - it worked fine. Was able to find the culprit, it's FireQuery ( http://firequery.binaryage.com/ ). As mentioned above everything works fine in Firefox 32.
Let them know about it as well: http://discuss.binaryage.com/t/firequery-breaks-js-in-firefox-33/2412

Cheers,
Albert
