Code to launch Inspect Element

I have set a keyboard shortcut (I, for inspect) to start inspecting
elements on the webpage using KeyConfig add-on using this code:

if (!FirebugContext) Firebug.toggleBar(true);
Firebug.Inspector.toggleInspecting(FirebugContext)

It doesn't seem to be working since today morning. Does anyone know
what's the current equivalent code?

You can change the keyboard shortcuts within Firebug. To change them go to Firebug Menu > Customize Shortcuts and change the shortcut for Toggle Inspecting to whatever you want.
