Hi,
I am using Firebug for the first time in my class and I clicked to open Firebug in a new window and now I can't seem to put it back. It pops up every time I open the Chrome browser. Has anyone found a way to revert back to the interface embedded in the browser?
Thanks!

Firebug Lite is abandoned for several years already. You may instead user Firebug for Firefox or the Firefox DevTools or, in case you want to stick with Chrome, use their DevTools.

Thanks, the book we are using refers to FireBug for Firefox but our school is not using FireFox. They say it's for security reasons with last years updates at sometime.
Thanks again!

Mozilla and Google generally react very fast when there are any security issues in their software. So if there was a security issue in Firefox last year, it is surely already fixed. Note that the normal release cycle for Firefox is every six weeks and there are also bug fix releases in between when there is a major problem or security bug.
Anyway, the point is to use the browser integrated tools instead of Firebug Lite in case it's causing problems.
