Can't see FirePHP icon when I open Firebug?

Hi guys, I having some trouble getting setup with FirePHP...

I downloaded and enabled the FirePHP add-on for Firefox and the .zip file from http://www.firephp.org/HQ/Install.htm. I extracted the zipped folder to my server root directory (I am using xampp to develop my site locally) but when I start Firebug I can't see the blue bug FirePHP symbol... Anyone got any suggestions on where I am going wrong??
