We had this problem before with Firefox 3.0.7 and Firebug and then all
was well for a few weeks but now its back. Some pages will load once
but if you try to reload them they will hang
with the message "Read xxxxx.xxxxx" in the bottom left corner. Closing
Firefox and restarting it enables the sites to load again. Here are two
examples:

I suspended Firebug and everything works fine.

Sounds like:

We put a hack in to Firebug for this problem, then took it out.

Please try Firebug 1.4. Is it still a problem?
