Hi,
Ever since i have updated to the new version, i am unable to search anything in the CSS file.
For example i do have a .navigation class in my css, but when i search i get nothing. Same red background in the search bar.

It works fine for me using Firefox 30.0 + Firebug 2.0.1 on Win8.1.
Could be a problem with the settings in your profile or a conflict with another extension, so I suggest you follow the steps on our first aid page and let us know what you found out.

Could this be related to the following issue?

I'm having exactly the same issue. If I try to search for something in the CSS file, and it's not currently visible in the viewport, the Firebug search feature can't find it. This is very frustrating, because of course I want to search for things I can't already see in the viewport! Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hi Anne,

sorry for the late reply. Do you refer to issue 7554, i.e. is your problem related to the Edit mode?

Sebastian,

Yes, my problem is exactly what's described in issue 7554. When I use the edit mode to edit CSS, and use the search box to search for a word that I know is in the stylesheet, it comes up as "not found" if the word is not currently visible in the viewport. If I scroll to where it's visible in the viewport, the search function will find the word. Thanks for your help, and let me know if there are any questions I can answer for you!

-Anne
