Yes. But why would you when you can do it via JavaScript? And you can get it from your plugin by using JavaScript too.

Yea, I read that this is possible via JQuery or via agent but it doesn't seem to be reliable. Anyway, one way I can think of is to make use of a combination of both javascript and registry to be more reliable. Use javascript and then use plugin to search the registry to countercheck.
