I am usingĀ Firebird-3.0.7.33374 as Superserver on Debian 9

In such case:

1. phisical copy of the database file.

2. your first step is validate database with gfix.

3. Backup of database with gbak

4. Installation of the newest Firebird. I install also latest snapshot in such case.

5. Restore database with gbak.

5. If problem is gone, you fixed it šŸ˜Š

Ā

If still errors. Follow Vlad link.

As I understand, this kind of error is something I can't mitigate or easily solve with my skills.

What I've read so far it my be connected to threads, kernel, maybe glibc.

This all happened after an upgrade. So rather then upgrading even more (docker container) I've restored a backup.

As expected it works again. But mystery remains.

Nevertheless , thanks for pointing me right direction.

Regards,
Frank
