Hello,

I tried to use Firebird 4.0 for Android Android ARM64 on an Android 10
phone and got the error "Could not find acceptable ICU library". Copying
icudt63l.dat, libicudata.so.63, libicui18n.so.63, libicuuc.so.63 from
the Firebird 4.0.0 RC1 tarball and creating the necessary symlinks
solved the issue.

Is Android supposed to have the correct ICU libraries and my phone is
just strange? Or is that a fault in the Firebird release tarball?

Best regards,

Jan

It's a fault in release. Wjat you've done was absolutely correct.

What abotu ICU libraries on Android - they are present, but VERY old and not usable for our needs.
