Input parameter type: array of float in UDR declaration

Hello everyone,

 

I am encountering an issue in my IDE where I am unable to declare an input parameter of type array of float within a User Defined Routine (UDR).

 

Could someone please advise if this functionality is supported by the IDE, or if there is a specific syntax or method I might be missing?

Hello all,

 

Following up on my previous query regarding array parameters in UDRs.

 

I investigated using a custom DOMAIN type and referencing it in the function signature using TYPE OF DOMAIN. However, I received the following error:

 

"Dynamic SQL Error: feature is not supported. Usage of domain or TYPE OF COLUMN of array type in PSQL"

 

Based on this error, I conclude that using custom domains that are arrays (or referencing them in this manner) is not supported in Firebird's PSQL implementation for this context.

 

It seems the limitation is deeper than just the IDE syntax.
