Hello all,

I noticed in the firebird log of one of our customers the following entries quite often:

XX-ALU Mon Jun 23 08:28:58 2025
Authentication error
operating system directive CryptAcquireContext failed
Provider type not defined.


XX-ALU Mon Jun 23 08:28:58 2025
Operating system call CryptAcquireContext failed. Error code -2146893801

We noticed that after weekends they need to restart our services because they became unresponsive. Same software running at other customers don't have this issue. I guess the services lost connection to the database. Examining the logs doesn't show anything except these above logs.

Firebird 3.11 (super) running on Windows server 2019 datacenter (VM)
