Index only select

Hello,

I am using 2.5.9 and 4.0.1 versions of FirebirdSQL. I wonder if there is such a thing as index only search in FirebirdSQL. I know some other database systems like PostgreSQL have it.

If yes, how can I identify it from the query plan?

No, Firebird cannot do index-only data retrieval.
