Hi,

I came across Interbase capabilities here

I also checked Firebird capabilities here

There is in-memory capability in Interbase but not in Firebird. I am not sure what in-memory capability this web site means.

If someone with more knowledge than me can tell if Firebird has in-memory capability, I am willing to warn the web site to add this in Firebird.

Thanks & Regards,
Ertan

Firebird was forked from Interbase in 2000. Since then they are in a different path.
Firebird has no in-memory feature.
BTW Google also does not find any official site where it states that Interbase also has in-memory feature.

In memory mean that whole db data + structure is in RAM.
It is sometimes usefull for local applications as you do not need to specify any path to db.
But if we ommit requitment about the path, all DB can be in memory when we use RAM disc ;-)
I have used RAM disc intensively in the past, now SSD on Pcie4 are fast enought that i use ram disc in corner cases only
