Hi all,
I'm having issues installing Firebird (tried 2.5 and 3.0) on Windows 11.
Installation wizard seems to be fine, but in fact, Firebird Windows Services are not added.
Not sure why, I could not find any obvious reason in Event Log.

Since Windows services are not running, obviously the whole server is down and cannot be started.

Do you have any suggestion what to try?
Thanks

1. Run it as an application to make sure that installation was complete.
2. Try to use system utility SC to install it as service to make sure that
you have all required rights for that.
3. Try to use Firebird instsvc utility that is actually used to install the
service by installer and see what's wrong with it.

I just tried with both the 32-bit and 64-bit Firebird 3.0.10 and
Firebird 2.5.9 installers on Windows 11, and the service was installed
just fine for all four.

Alternatively, try to run instsvc (instsvc install) from a command
prompt run as administrator, and report back any errors. You can use
instsvc start to start the service if it was installed succesfully.
