FB4 nbackup

Hello,

Have a question regarding nbackup in Firebird 4.

I have studied the document https://www.firebirdsql.org/file/community/conference-2016/firebird-nbackup-evolution.pdf

With the INPLACE feature it looks like it can be used for kind of a asynchronous replication which is also mentioned  in the document.

Every time nbackup is called a row is added in RDB$BACKUP_HISTORY and backup if is done often the table will be very large over time.

Is this problematic? Is it safe to delete old RDB$BACKUP_HISTORY records?

Any opinion about calling nbackup every 10 seconds?
