Hi,

recently we found this log in firebird.log. It does not seem to affect the availability of the database, but we'd like to know to source of it appearing:

Xenofont-Krk    Fri Sep 19 21:22:42 2025
        Database: /var/local/baza/DATABASE.gdb
I/O error during "unlink" operation for file "/var/local/baza/DATABASE.gdb  "
Error while trying to delete file
        Permission denied

As far as we can understand that the firebird maybe tried to delete the database file or some file related to it (like tmp file, idk). That's kind of concerning for us. Please let me know what could it mean.

Best regards,
Marcel

Hello,

In case if VM, thsi error can be due to operations like VM resize, suspend, etc.
Monitor logs.
