Already checked with flamerobin, no dependency.

When error occurred to a restored database, data seems OK, but all procedures, views and triggers gone.

I managed to rebuild those from an active database and removed the error procedure  and it was a success, this proof that there's no dependency on this procedure.

Before remove the error procedure, doing backup and restore again, now no error occurred.

All backup and restore operations done via flamerobin.

Active database size is about 16GB.
This error when restore data is not just happened now, it is back when used FB 2.5 Super.

I began to think if firebird is realible enough to handle big data.

Firebird requires DBA to handle big data. And even then it is as reliable as
hardware on which is run.

A VERY SERIOUS BUG In Firebird 3 package

Hi guys ,

Regarding error in restore, I found a serious bug in Firebird package.

Here is what happened. I have a procedure abc that in its code called a procedure in a package something like this select * from mkt.sls(:a)

Later on I altered procedure's mkt.sls so the input parameters change to mkt.sls(int,date).

Here are what happened
1. Chaged package OK without any warning that there is a dependency to procedure abc

2. When viewing ddl package mkt via flamerobin, there was no dependency showed to procedure abc

3. Backup database Ok, but when restoring, error throw with a message parameter mismatch from procedure Mkt.Sls

As a result, restore operations quit prematurely, all procedures, indices, views, constraints gone.

Don't know if this bug exist in latest firebird version.
