Hello...

I have just updated my Firebird Data Access Layer to .NET Core 8.0 using the latest version of the Firebird ADO.NET Provider, which I believe is 10.31.1.  And hopefully, I will get this latest update out to the community in the next week or so.

However, can one use this provider from a client application to connect to a Firebird Server running under Ubuntu 24.x.x?

Thank you...

Why do you think it wouldn't?

I am asking because I don't know.

My workstation where the application would be running is Windows.  And my question is could the provider cross operating systems to access a Firebird database successfully?

Yes, the wire protocol is OS agnostic.
