UDF

Hello.

I am testing how FB 5 works. For now I need to use UDF, so I set UdfAccess = Restrict UDF, I created subfolder UDF and put there my file. However, Firebird still complains:

"Invalid request BLR at offset 5

Function DIV is not defined

module name or entrypoint could not be found".

The latest snapshot 64bit tested on Windows 11.

What is wrong?

Most likely you created the folder in a wrong place. Use Process Monitor to
check where the file was looked for.

I created this folder in Firebird installation folder of course. I will check.

Hi

You do not need div udf, in sql all integer divisions by integer use div. You must expliciyly cast it to float numer to get division with fraction.
