I've added a new chapter in the Firebird Internals manual describing the
External Table Format. I'd appreciate comments for improvements and
other feedback.

You can find it at
https://firebirdsql.org/file/documentation/html/en/firebirddocs/firebirdinternals/firebird-internals.html#fbint-external-table

This file have no "fbint-external-table" section, sorry. But PDF version is OK:

https://firebirdsql.org/file/documentation/pdf/en/firebirddocs/firebirdinternals/firebird-internals.pdf

I've added my comments (a single one so far) directly at the commit on github:

https://github.com/FirebirdSQL/firebird-documentation/commit/60254f245ea183639a9f0945b79e54fbd78b9c6e#r176747249

Thanks,
Vlad

It does for me, maybe you're looking at an old cached version? Try a
hard refresh.

Thanks. Weirdly enough, I didn't receive a notification of that.

Already tried many times, no luck. It returns "version 1.4, 2 August 2025".
Using Firefox and Edge (which I never use, so it have no local cache at all).

Vlad

We use caching for up to 24 hours for documentation, and maybe the
Cloudflare caching depends on region. You could try via
www.firebirdsql.org instead of firebirdsql.org, or use /docs/ instead of
/file/documentation/, and otherwise it should correct itself within 24
hours.
