IStatement::getAffectedRecord after execute() error

Hello All,
if first call to IStatement::execute() succeeded and getAffectedRecord()
returned some value but following call to execute() failed, should Statement
reset internal variable so following call to getAffectedRecord() return zero or
it still should return value from the last successful execute?
