Failing to add data to firestore emulator : context deadline exceeded

So i am trying to use this, to run unit tests with firestore . I am using the gcloud commands to start up the emulator. It seems everything is running fine until i try to add data to the emulator. I get the error :

Failed adding data : context deadline exceeded

The part that panics :
