Firebase Cloud messaging costs

Hello Everyone,

We are thinking about using Firebase cloud messaging (FCM) to send push messages to an app we are creating. 

I saw that FCM is free on the pricing table of Firebase, but we were wondering if we would also need to use other products of Firebase to just send push messages to our customers on the app?

We will want to use images and DeepURLS in our push messages and will eventually have to be able to send around 10-50k push messages per week.

Hi Bart,

FCM is free for unlimited usage and you don't need to use any other Firebase products to use it.  So your push messaging will be completely free.

Just one word of caution. While the push messages are free, if you need to read from the DB to gather the data for FCM you could incur costs. For example, if use Firestore and read over 50k/day, you'll be charge $0.06 per 100/k.
