Link Firebase to BigQuery

Hey,
I want to link my FB project to BigQuery. However, when I go to settings->integration->bigquery and click on 'Link to BigQuery' I get the error message 'Error:An error occurred while trying to link. Please try again.'
I have already read this article https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/7031061?hl=en but for this error message the only suggestion is to try again later... I already tried it later and had no success.

For this type of issue you should file a support ticket since they would be able to look deeper into the cause of the issue.
