Hi,

Does upgrading Firebase BOM version to 26.3.0 increases app start time significantly in Android?

Situation Till mid February 2021,

• The app start time was around 780ms (Percentile - 50% Median)
• Firebase BOM version 26.1.1

In Mid Feb 2021 we released an app update with Firebase BOM version 26.3.0( We were forced to upgrade BOM version as we believe there was issue in reporting first_open count in 26.1.1).

• As we rolled out this app update, the app start time suddenly shot up to 1.56s.(Percentile - 50% Median)
• We upgraded the Firebase BOM version to 26.5.0 and 26.7.0(Latest) but the issue remains.

I am using performance dashboard of Firebase console to monitor the app start time.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.
