Using Drupal to authenticate with firebase

Hey does anybody know how I could use my Drupal site to authenticate with firebase? I've looked into JWTs but don't quite understand how I would implement them, I cant see much support for JWTs for Drupal.

If anybody could point me in the right direction i would be grateful.

Dale,

Isn't Drupal a PHP product? If so, then you could hook into Drupal auth and sign tokens for authenticating with Firebase, using the PHP helper library.
