Any way to use firebase hosting over http instead of https?

Hi,

Just wondering if I can use firebase hosting to host files over http instead of https? I need to embed some content into my site that is only available over http.

Hi Rob -

No, we don't allow http traffic. A webpage served over http (or that includes http content) is vulnerable to a number of security exploits. Firebase is intent on being a highly secure solution, so we've chosen to require the use of a https for all communication.
