Hi!

I'm wondering if I will get an email if I would exceed the quota so that I can act upon it quickly. Also, is there a notification when the quota is about to be exceeded? For example when I've used up 90% of my file uploads. I feel this would be required for me to be willing to use this in production.

Kind Regards

Hello Simon,

Notifications are setup for quota enforcement. I'm not aware of the details of other services, but for the Realtime Database you'll be notified as near your consumption limits for bandwidth and storage. You'll have plenty of time to react and upgrade your plan before your database will be disabled for being overquota.

If you want to make sure your project has alerts enabled go to: https://firebase.corp.google.com/subscriptions/overview

Hope that helps!

https://console.firebase.google.com/subscriptions/overview is the link for most people - internally it gets rewritten hence Tyler's URL being a little off :)
