Firebase Storage - allow Twitterbot access in robots.txt ?

Hi there,

Just hoping for an ETA on the issue/solution raised here:

Summary: Twitter's card-crawler user-agent (unlike FB's, Google's, etc.) can't execute Javascript, so it can't understand firebasestorage image URLs and their alt/token parameters and won't recognise them as Twittercard thumbnails.

Mike McDonald mentioned in the SO post that robots.txt will be removed in the next backend update so I'd just like to know what the timescale for that is likely to be.
