Value of FCM token returned is null very often

Sometimes FCM token is generated which results into not getting push notification on the app front. Read the firebase documentation found that FirebaseInstanceIdService is deprecated, so replaced it with FirebaseMessagingService onNewToken method. Still the null token issue persists. So, wanted to know in which scenarios Firebase returns null FCM token.
