Hello,

I am currently using Firebase Dynamic Links to shorten links via REST requests. However, since September 8th, I have been experiencing intermittent 500 and 503 errors, along with latency issues that exceed one minute. There have been no changes to my server around this time, but these issues are causing continuous error notifications in my project, and I would like to identify the cause.

Could you please confirm if there were any recent changes on Firebase's end, or if there might be an issue with the requests being made from my project? Please let me know if any additional information is needed to resolve this matter.

Thank you.

Dynamic Links have been deprecated for some time. The service will shut down on August 25, 2025.

Hi there,

As Joe mentioned, Firebase Dynamic Links will be shut down on August 25, 2025, however until that time it should still be usable and interruptions like that one you experienced here aren't expected.

We didn't find any outages reported for the service yet but will look into it. Could you also help us by filing a bug to the team?

Thanks,
-Sumit

I am aware that this service will end on August 25, 2025. However, I am curious about the cause of the sudden issues that have started occurring since September 8.

Hello,

Are you still seeing issues using the service continuously since September 8th? Could you please help us investigate by filing a bug to the team and letting us know once you've had a chance to send it?

Thank you,
-Sumit
