Hi,

I am using the beforeSignIn blocking function in GCIP to store a refresh token for my users in the database. I know there are close ties with Firebase Authentication - do the firebase auth emulators support the GCIP blocking functions?

If not it makes using the emulators very difficult as I need to later access the refresh token from the db and make outbound calls (in the case when the access token has expired). If the emulators don't support the blocking function then I can't really use them - I can login against a live project but then my functions need to be deployed against the live project too in order to access the same database instance.

Thanks
Iain

Hi Iain,

That's a good question. Right now the emulators don't support any of the GCIP-only features, they emulate the features of the free Firebase Auth product. In the future we hope to change this!
