Hi,

Do you guys experiencing Firebase auth issues? I am using Angular 4 with AngularFire2 for auth. Previously, email verification was sent like charm, but recently auth does not send email as requested. Is anyone having the same issue?

Thank you so much.

Hey Ratana,
There was an issue with SendGrid, the service used by Firebase Auth for sending emails, which was causing delays in email delivery. It should be fixed now.
We apologize for any convenience.
If you are still encountering delays, please let us us know.

Best regards,
Bassam

Hello,

We are still experiencing a delay in the verification emails.  Is there an existing problem with Firebase right now?

Thank you!

Hey there,
If you are still experiencing issues with email delays, please open a ticket with Firebase Support:
They may need to ask you for some additional information and will be able to assist you.

The issue is related to the SendGrid service that Firebase Auth uses to send emails.

Best regards,
Bassam

I'm just implementing email verification for the first time, and it seems like I'm having this issue.  I logged "sent" in the then statement for sendEmailVerification(), so I know the method triggered correctly, but I don't see any email coming to the email address. (I checked spam).

Hey Noah,
Please check to see that this is related to the delay in delivery issue (you should eventually get the emails delivered to the intended inbox). It could be something else. The issue being reported is that some emails are slow to deliver. If that is the case, please reach out to Firebase Support.

Best regards,
Bassam
