I added custom domain and don't see AAAA records.

Does Firebase supports iPv6?

Currently Firebase Hosting does not support ipv6, but that is something that we'll be working on.

Sorry about that,

Let see what that means. If I have an iOS App which to use
Firebase Hosting it needs to pass the Apple's requirements about iPV6.
If you integrate with iOS client tools then how they will pass the Apple's requirements?

For y current iOS App passing IPv6/IPv4 requirements was monumental task and
I cannot imagine you advertise iOS client integration without the server handling this.

The iOS ipv6 requirements are setup so that your iOS app will work on ipv6 only networks.  The Firebase SDKs that you'd use in your iOS app are setup so that they will work over ipv6, Firebase Hosting should not be blocking that requirement.  But maybe you're running into some kind of issue?

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your response.

No I am not running on any issue but want to be sure all bases covered before
transitioning to Firebase.

I see Firebase as a modern platform and this is the future.

I suppose you have many users with Apps already approved from Apple for AppStore?

Thank you,

Actually it does. Firebase Hosting runs on Fastly and Fastly supports IPv6.

Here are all the (IPv4 and IPv6)s of Firebase Hosting:

151.101.1.195
151.101.65.195
151.101.129.195
151.101.193.195

2a04:4e42::451
2a04:4e42:200::451
2a04:4e42:400::451
2a04:4e42:600::451

Even SSL/TLS works properly on Firebase Hosting IPv6 addresses: https://imgur.com/a/gHb2kdc
