hi,

I'm uploading application in google play store, and my application have been rejected because of below email:

Fix the policy violation with your app

During review, we found that your application violates the Personal and Sensitive Information provisions of our User Data policy.

Our policy states: You must be transparent in how you handle user data (e.g., information provided by a user, collected about a user, and collected about a user’s use of the app or device), including by disclosing the collection, use, and sharing of the data, and you must limit use of the data to the description in the disclosure.

We’ve identified that your app is facilitating the transmission of users’ contact information to "http://*.firebaseio.com" without meeting the prominent disclosure guidelines.

Please make sure that the uploading of any user information only takes place after users have read and agreed to a proper disclosure.

Make sure to also post a privacy policy in both the designated field in the Play Developer Console and from within the Play distributed app itself.

this is my current privacy policy.

should i mention firebaseio.com in privacy policy? because I already place agreement and policy acceptance before user can use any feature of my application.

Rudy,

It sounds like the complaint is centered around the fact that the app might be sending data before showing the disclosure, or the privacy policy is not posted in all the required locations. It's a bit vague, but I don't see anything suggesting that you can't send the contact info, just that you can't do it until you have consent.

☼, Kato

Hi, Kato

Thanks for answering.

Below is the first activity in the application after splash screen.

User have to press "accept and continue" before application request anything to firebase and they can use my app.
When "Privacy Policy" link clicked, user will be forwarded to browser to view it.

Is there something missing?

Regards,

Not sure; looks good to me. Maybe focus on this (also a bit vague) line?

that too, I already check the Privacy Policy link between First Activity, Menu Privacy Policy, and store listing privacy policy. It is already pointed to the same link.

Is there any condition on the domain name? should it be the same between application package name and domain name?
