Hello,

When I compile firebase with the latest storage dependency in my build.gradle file it won't compile, that is if i use this:

compile 'com.google.firebase:firebase-storage:9.4.0'

however if i change it back to:

compile 'com.google.firebase:firebase-storage:9.2.0'

it suddenly compiles again, moreover it works!

Is anybody getting the same error?

kind regards,

Riaan

PS: The error I got was:

Error:(75, 29) error: cannot access zzalt
class file for com.google.android.gms.internal.zzalt not found

Hi Riaan.  Sorry you are seeing this error.
One thing that may not be clear is that all of your firebase references must point to the same version.

Can you please check that and also post the entire contents of your gradle file if there is still an issue?

if you have the references to google play services check that match with the 9.4.0 version
Version 9.4 of the Firebase SDK for Android is now available as part of the Google Play services 9.4 release.
