App killed when ChimeraCfgMgr updates some gms module

I've been stuck with this for a while now.

We're using tablets for big events, our app is the device owner of the device and sometimes the app will be unexpectedly closed for no reason. Apparently it all comes to ChimeraCfgMgr (dynamite) updating some config and then forcing my app to restart. 

The app relies on google services to just receive push notifications. Any way of disabling Chimera?
