Unkown Firebase Project?

I am using google cloud run and google cloud database and i notice that there is now a new Firebase Project with the same project id as the project id i am using for the other services.

I did not create the Firebase Project but I am afraid to delete it because the project ids are the same. 

Can anyone explain what is going on here?

Hello,

For the time being do not delete the Project as it likely IS your Cloud Project. If you need immediate help with this please contact Firebase support.

If you merely want to understand what might be going on, feel free to respond here. Regardless in either venue please describe:

1.  exactly how you added Cloud Run and that database to your Cloud Project AND
2.  what specific database you are using and how
