Encryption of Data in FireBase

Hello,

We plan to use FireBase as a Backend Database and would like to store some sensitive information, I searched the forum for similar question and found that some had asked this question in 2014 , Wanted to find out if there is any progress made on this front , How is your future RoadMap looking  ? 

Is there any support for data-at-rest encryption?  If not, is there anything on the roadmap?
