I would like to include a link with a custom URL scheme in the password reset email template.
The thing is that custom URLs scheme are not detected as hyperlinks in text mode. Is there a way to create a link in text mode or a way to include formatted text in the template?

Hi Jorge -

For the time being, we're only allowing text-based email templates, though will explore HTML email templates in the future which would give you greater control over how links are rendered. I'll include this item in our internal prioritization discussion, though we will not likely make any changes in the short term.

One other recommendation that I would make is to look into the mail clients most commonly used by your users and see if there is a way in which they'll pick up the custom scheme from a text template, though that is likely to only provide partial support.

Thanks for the feedback -

Hi Rob, thanks for the prompt reply.

One workaround I´ve found is to host a simple html file or a php with an http scheme which is detected as a hyperlink in most of the email clients.

There are several tutorials on the net about redirection. Even server redirection with .htaccess rules.

J.
