Push notifications in inactive users

Hello I have an angular app that my users use in iOS and android 
I have their registrationIds in my database 
and I have a job that runs and sends push notifications to the users(job runs in java not in the app)
If the user is not using my app for lets say 1,5-3 months but has his app installed on the phone will he continue to receive push notifications?

This is a slightly more complicated question than whether time will effect reception. There are other concerns such as stale and expired tokens, changed notification permissions, uninstalls and lost and damaged devices.
